While Tassadar is not dead in the Nexus, this iteration of Zeratul saw his friend die killing the Overmind, and now wishes he rest. Protoss often refer to Raynor as "James Raynor." Zeratul and Raynor became close friends due to Raynor's aid in killing the Overmind.
"My burdens weigh heavy" is one of Zeratul's select in StarCraft II. The act of killing another protoss is considered an abhorrent act, even if Zeratul was forced to do it on many occasions.
